Osteoporosis Conference 2016
Organised by the National Osteoporosis Society
This bi-annual international Osteoporosis Conference took place at the Birmingham ICC for three days (7th to 9thNovember 2016). 700 delegates from medicine, Nursing & AHP, Osteoporosis & FLS, attended. The programme comprised 32 oral presentations, 24 workshops, and 129 poster presentations. Early morning and evening symposia extended the wealth of information to be accessed and provided excellent opportunities for networking. The event was organized and sponsored by the National Osteoporosis Society, and further supported by an extensive range of exhibitors and sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry, physiological measurements, osteoporosis screening and diagnostics, physical interventions, IT, publishing, professional organisations (such as the RCP, Falls & Fracture Audit Programme, the British Geriatric Society, Bone Research Society,Paget’s Disease Society and the IOF).
